Poor window service. They made me switch my online password on a weekend and it wouldn't work. So I had to wait to access my account.

behind the curve on some things like photo check deposits..they take three days to process while dort federal does them every day by two pm

Friendly enough, but going inside to see your teller on a TV screen doesn't make much sense to me. It's less personal.

I have had nothing but a terrible experience with financial plus credit union. This has happened to me on more than 1 occasion. The 1st time being them seizing money from an account they had no authority over. I was the Executor of estate for this account witch was my grandfathers account. When I went in to close the account with the legal paperwork proving I had power over everything sighed by a judge and my attorney they refused to turn the money over to me/close account. They explained to me that my paperwork was accurate, I was able to have full access to account but they needed to notify corporate before releasing funds to me. The next day I went in to follow up seeing if corporate was notified and they explained to me there was no money in the account it had all been withdrawn by the credit union and applied to the auto loan on account that did not 1 payment missed/behind. I asked why I was lied to/not notified at all that this would be the case and they explained it’s there policy. I believe they would have had the right had they done it before I proved legal documentation of representation of estate but they did so after the fact and tried to hide it. Another example is there pre approval loans they send out to members baiting them in the get a loan. I say baiting because you will receive a pre approval offer but once you go in asking for that pre approved offer they will run you credit and counter offer the pre approval to something lower. Im upset because my credit has now a hard inquiry for no reason at all. If they would have explained to me that it was a bait and I would not be approved for the full pre approval amount I would’ve chosen to wait. Now I didn’t get the loan that I was pre approved for as well as have the documentation they sent me and still had the hard credit inquiry. When speaking with someone they sounded as if they didn’t want to own up to baiting people in on there pre approval offers to counter offer them with lower loans. Of course they had justification for that as well as justification for the 1st terrible experience I’ve had here. I’ve removed my funds and closed my accounts myself there. This is not a credit union I will put my money into again and hope they are not doing this to everyone. I have an attorney reading over there full policy in detail regarding my first bad experience with them and will pursue action as they illegally took money from a deceased persons account after the fact of me proving authority over everything.
