I’ve been a member since 1990 at the Wyandotte location . The tellers would remember who I was back then. It was a real personal service that taught me as a kid how to save and earn interest on my money. Then they merged with Downriver and I feel like they were rotating the tellers from all the different locations. All the personal relations were gone. The kid savings programs were removed. The small town credit seems like just a big business bank now. I now do most of my transactions online to avoid the long wait times that the drive thru always causes. I’ve been to all the locations and at least they always keep them really clean and updated.

I have been a member since I was 16 years old, got a line of credit with them. All of a sudden they started reporting balances to my credit even when I paid them off within a week. For example I used $30 form my line of credit that had a $0 balance and it knocked my credit for like 8 points! And as of today I just got an alert that my credit went down 31 points because I used $1300 from my line of credit which I paid off within 5 days!!!

Went to deposit $350 in checks to my checking account and receive $60 cash back. After being discriminated against for being too poor (3 day hold on checks to make sure I haven’t cashed them before since I don’t have constant income in this bank even though this is all traceable?), I also didn’t receive my $60 cash (had well over $60 in my account already to cover it) then the pending money was transferred to my savings instead of my checking. Awful experience and am looking to switch banks immediately. There’s no benefit to banking here, the overdraft fees are ridiculous. You can go over 1 penny and it’s $30 fee every single time, there’s no leeway or help. It’s beyond difficult to manage your account or do anything, I still don’t have the app set up and online is still challenging. The loan rates are just as high as banks, the interest you get on savings is completely laughable. Todays disgrace was brought to me by operator 510 at 10:31.

Ridiculous they make you jump through hoops when you have a government check. Put holds on them. Won't accept your updated mail with your new address expect you to have a new ID took my business to advantage one and got everything taken care of nor do they hold government checks
