Very disappointed with the service here. We just moved here from California 2 weeks ago my son got a job and needed to open an account. We made an appointment and went in, they asked for something showing proof of residency or employment. I offered my utility bill but it was not in his name so they asked him if he could bring something from his new employer. My son then got a signed letter from his employer stating he was hired to work in Rockford. He took this letter back the same day to the same guy, who then said that he couldn’t open the account because the letter didn’t have his residential address on it. First off my son went to his brand new employer to ask for a letter and second of all the guy did not ask for it to have his address on it just proof of employment. My son works in Rockford and should have been able to open an account. BIG MISTAKE !!! My husband and I just sold 3 properties in California and wanted to open a local account that’s definitely not happening here. Other then this experience we love Rockford.

Every experience I've had w/CWCU, whether in person at a branch or online. has gone smoothly. I was treated in courteous and professional manner on each occasion. That is why I'm proud to say, that I've been a member for 39+ years...!!!

Being with community west CU I had a hard time with customer service and customer satisfaction is very difficult to From my experience I was repeatedly told no On simple request. I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years

This sorry excuse for an establishment is STILL, yes still enforcing mask requirements even though I have a medical exemption and EVEN THOUGH the Michigan Supreme Court declared all executives orders after April 2020 to be illegal and unconstitutional. They not only refused me service without a mask, they refused to close my account without a mask. They are now my former bank and they will be stuck in perpetuity with an inactive account because I withdrew all of my money and put it in a bank that knows how to treat people and actually WANTS business.

On Saturday 3 / 17 /18, my three-year-old son and I had a terrible experience at the Rockford branch. Upon arriving I wasn't aware that the lobby was closed so I let my son sit on my lap through the drive-thru as he enjoys depositing his own money. My son went to put his bagging of money into the window slot when the teller rudely asked if that was change, and said that they do not have a change counter! I informed her that there wasn't that much change and that I thought she'd be all right. After counting the money she sent out our membership card and slip not saying anything to my son or I. Being 3 years old my son knows that when he makes a deposit at his bank he gets a toy of the treasure chest, so I kindly ask the teller if he could have a toy of the treasure chest. She replied with lots of attitude stating that they don't normally do that on Saturdays. I kindly reminded her that he's 3 years old and just made $150 deposit. Again with the attitude she said she can see what she can do and walked away! I'm not sure if she was aware or not but she left her mic on and was moaning and groaning the whole time I found this very rude and disrespectful as it is my young son would like a reward for saving his money and depositing it into his savings account. That is the whole reason why we have an account at Community West as well as the reason why we made the trip from Sparta to Rockford to deposit it in the home branch. After listening to her moan and groan she sent out rubber ducky, my son was thrilled! She didn't say anything like have a great day or thanks for stopping! So I spoke up and asked for her attention by saying excuse me twice! I asked her what her name was and she was quite shocked by me asking. Lora was very rude and disrespectful to my son and I! I tried to call and make a complaint to the call center but I kept just getting voicemails and haven't received a call back! I am so disappointed and the way we were treated and the way we are continue to be treated by not using a phone call back! We are currently looking for a new youth account for my son. Maybe we can find a place that enjoys children.

Miranda Mann did an amazing job helping me refinance my mortgage in 2021 and obtain a HELOC in 2023. She helped me thoroughly understand the loan I was getting and got it processed quickly! She went above and beyond to help me and I cannot thank her enough.

Never very friendly at drive thru
Continue to ruin my credit until my loan balance judgement is paid.
Why did you have to wait three years to put into my credit report that I haven’t paid at all when I have.
Making that change further damaged my credit.
Claim they won’t change payment status until loan is paid so instead you keep going in to make changes to further drop my credit. Very malicious!
