PREDATORY LENDING PRACTICES!! I inherited my fathers home after he recently passed. His mortgage is with 53rd. As soon as it went thru probate I started to contact 53rd to do whatever I needed to take care of this. I have had contact once since May. I went in and did what I was told was step 1 and that was to add my name as successor on fathers account. I was told by Amanda K. as soon as I received the letter saying I had been added to call her so we could move to step 2. I sent multiple emails and left many voicemails to her directly as well as the bank. I still to this day have not heard from her or anyone at the bank. Shortly after step 1 I got a letter from an attorney stating that the loan has now been accelerated and total balance is to be paid in full. I believe I was ignored and treated unfairly because I have little knowledge on how any of this works. Amanda knew I had never been in a situation like this! Instead of helping me they chose to ignore me. Now I may lose the home due to their unprofessionalism and lack of concern for their customers. I am beyond angry at this point. I will be reporting them to the BBB and also Consumer Practices. I will NEVER deal with them again and I will tell everyone to not deal with them as well. The location I am talking about is the branch office in Wadhams Michigan. Beware they are HORRIBLE and dont give a damn about their customers. I will not let this go! Like I said at the beginning of this review PREDATORY LENDING PRACTICES!!!!! I NOW HAVE LEGAL REPRESENTATION FROM ATTORNY

Usually the staff I's very friendly and very helpful but today I called regarding a security issue with my card and the lady who helped me was very rude. She kept interrupting me and when I told her i was locked out of my account she wouldn't even let me Finnish and went on to say everything's fine on my end it doesn't show anything like that,in a snarky way constantly trying to interrupt me. So I told her again that it told me I was locked out because of too many invalid entries. This was not true and it wanted me to call but she just kept saying everything is good on my end so it's fine without actually looking into it. Terrible customer sevice

Ive never had any issues banking at this branch in the decade or more ive been a customer. Staff are very curtious, helpful, and very physically attractive as well which is never a bad thing ;)

unbelievably gave a difficult time cashing a check with supportive documentation and proof the independent contractor was who he said he was and manager was real disrespectful about it

Don't go to this bank for a home loan. What a nightmare. Never knew what was going on. Everything was getting done at the last second. We went somewhere else for a home loan. Never again will we deal with these people.

Extremely curtious tellers, and make sure they uphold the 5/3 promise to protect and keep your personal information safe and secure. Thank you very much, for your outstanding services, shout out to Maria & Melissa, but not to intentionally leave out all the hard-working staff working for 5/3 bank financial institution. Wonderful job, thanks for a great experience!
