The worst, most frustrating transition from Wells Fargo. To go from a five star bank to a three star bank at best is very disappointing. Clunky interface on both the phone app and atm, plus the slowest transaction rate. If I buy something today, it won’t appear until next week. Then they charge you an over draft fee when they should’ve had it straightened out a week prior. Never had that issue with Wells Fargo. I plan on switching banks very soon.

I am not a big fan of Flagstar Bank and no longer bank with them, but I can tell any prospective customer this: The Branch Manager Janet took care of a very urgent issue for me recently and I couldn't appreciate it more. Thank you for the great customer service Janet.

Actually enjoy my banking visits at our neighborhood Flagstar bank. The folks working there are always upbeat, friendly, and professional. Many businesses fall far short with regards on how to treat their customers.

Flagstar Bank Ishpeming does not know how to be a bank.
They have held partial amounts of my work checks I have deposited for over a year now. My checks are only $100-300 checks.
First I would deposit digitally- but was told since they cannot see the check a hold is placed. So I would cash my checks in person at the bank.
THREE times now including today they placed an amount of my check on a holding period. Just today was the latest time this happened and forced me to write this review as the banker on the phone essentially told me that I need to request my money not be held every single week I cash my check. I told her that is the bankers job or train them and she said it wasn’t. No, you will not hold my money ransom and I’ll be calling Corporate about your policies.
