I called the 800 Midwest customer service number to clarify that a potentially outstanding loan payment had been corrected as per mailed instructions and a reissued payment placed in the US mail.
Danielle Little, Customer Service Representative for Midwest Loan Services answered my call. Danielle was very patient and responded quickly and politely to all my questions. Her manner and responses made a potentially stressful telephone exchange into a very helpful and pleasant discussion.

I’ve a mortgage managed by Midwest Loan Services. I’m pretty frustrated about their services.
Depending on when you contact them, it might take up to one hour to speak with someone at the customer service. So, you use the email contact but instead of receiving answers you receive email links leading to a secure messaging where you’ll not find anything. System bug most likely but at the end you’ll find it very difficult to get your question answered.
Their notification system doesn’t work properly, sometimes you receive too many notifications, sometimes not enough. I pay my mortgage at the reception of these. So, I ended up to be late on some payments as I didn’t receive the notification to pay. Another month, I ended up to pay 3 times the amount. Then I started to investigate and discovered that despite paying every single time they asked for, I had late fees posted on my account! That’s Ok everybody makes mistake and bugs happen. So, I finally spoke with them and they literally refused to take accountability for their messed-up system!!!
It's the worth customer service I’ve ever experienced. Their explanation was funny do. You know you signed a 400 pages contract saying that your payment was due every month so notification or not, you’re supposed to pay. This is great service, no doubt. Thank you Midwest, I hope my bank finds another company to operate their mortgages in the future.

I think I accidentally deleted my review.
We have had more than a couple mortgages with Midwest Loan
Services through our Credit Union and every time, without exception , anyone I dealt with were amazing in handling my issues.
Problem ? Solved in minutes ! Needed documentation for a refi or a Home Equity Loan ? in my e mail within moments.
Every single time I needed help, Midwest was there. Customer Service seems to be a way of life with this company.
I have told many people what a good experience it is working with Midwest.
My only disappointment. We are paying off our mortgage this month, so our business relationship is ending. But the memories of such wonderful service, will always remain.
I don't know if I am permitted to mention names, but the most recent amazing Midwest person who helped me was Joan Laurn.
She was wonderful to speak with, answered my questions and I hung up with a smile on my face.

Definitely the best customer service I've ever received from a mortgage company. Erin Ogden is by far the best; incredibly professional and personable, but fast and responsive. I feel like I'm in good hands and I REALLY like the fact that she'll be my assigned Customer Service representative. It helps when you can establish a relationship and work with the same person; this is a wonderful company procedure!

Customer service rep Darleen Jensen helped me with 3 things in matter of minutes on a recent call- really fast. She knew all the answers to my questions right off the bat without the need to research anything. She processed an escrow payment as well without any issue. Not to mention she was easy to speak with and polite! Thanks Darleen!
