Notified me just days of my property going into foreclosure when my elderly father had missed payments on his home equity loan. Came after my husband and I hard suing us for our property that we had been paying a mortgage directly to my father. Very unpleasant experience and was given no choice except pay off “22k that your father owes or lose your house”valued at about 200k. I would not recommend this credit union to anyone. The way it all went down was cruel and heartless and we are now paying 500 a month on someone else’s debt. We aren’t even allowed to get a bill or receipt or account number just blindly sending them checks on my father’s behalf. Sickening.

Didn’t really use the account so they charged me 5 bucks a month to hold my money on a free checking account.

Love the tellers in Sanford always a pleasant place to be, however loan's are tough here compared to other places and honestly every other place is back open on Saturday, why are you guys dragging your feet to help other customers and reopen on Saturday? Not everyone can get there on a weekday.... ridiculous. I miss the YCFCU, going over to Atlantic has been discouraging to say the least. Local branch staff is the best and they are not to blame.

If i could give no stars i would. I have used mobile deposit alot. All of a sudden the check was returned to this credit union ( with no explanation and not for insufficient funds) They charge me fee's and can not explain the reason why. They said they would call me back in an hour. Nothing...crickets. This credit union is the worst. They do not care about you. You are just a number.... Chris, I have been trying to call you. I called the local branch AGAIN and they still won't help and are telling me sorry so sad. NO HELP AND NO ONE CARES AT ALL! Update....still holding my breath. Finally April came thRough. Got the fee back. Wow my mind is tired. There has to be an easier way.

The people are nice, the 24 hour loan service? Not so much. It’s took around 4 days for them to get back and tel me it was declined because I don’t work enough hours, (15 hours per week more coming in). Which me and my mom figure out, is Very wrong especially with a co- signer. I work at 11.50 an hour. Do not use the 24 hour loan service if you need quick a reliable services.

I just opened an account in Sanford. The people were friendly and helpful. I love that I can shared branch with my other credit union accounts.

I do not recommend this credit union to anyone! Overdraft fees, fees for inactivity on your account…always trying to make money off the customer not to mention the hours on the weekend are non existent and they rarely open on time.
