When I lived in Bath as a teenager I hated this place because they were rude to me. As an adult I thought, "Maybe I was too harsh."
No. I was not too harsh. The tellers themselves are generally amiable but the people who control the office will make your life as difficult as possible.
Ask for a credit card statement? Get an undated printout of transactions that supposedly happened with no dates or total balance due. I pursued this bank for months for a statement so I could pay off the card and never received it.
Never again. Nothing could ever persuade me to do business here again.

We worked with Katie Ferland for our mortgage and it was a fantastic experience. As first time home buyers we had a lot of questions that she answered quickly and made it easy for us to understand. Not impressed with how they deal with business. My fiancé has a car financed thru this bank and they failed to inform him they didn’t have the full title and gave him an incomplete one to use to register the vehicle. He has just found out about the suspension and went in to talk to them about it and they said they have been working on the issue and didn’t feel the need to inform him on any of what has been going on. I am very happy to do not have this bank and will be making him switch after all of this is over. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

I hate banks. That said, MidCoast opened an account lickity split. No fuss no mess. I appreciate quick and easy.
**EDIT** No different then any other bank. I can't even get them to send me a debt card. Security is questionable. I feel very weary keeping my money here. I'll be asking around for an alternative.
