The bank manager at Truist in Dunkirk has helped my family for years. She has been with SunTrust for years and is reliable, concerning, interested in helping you and available when needed. The tellers and other bank employees are also helpful here at this bank.
A one-star rating on this bank indicates to me that, that particular disgruntled client can’t work together to have a positive experience and is not worth having. I mistakenly selected a thumbs-up on that client’s one-star and regret that.

Staff is not helpful. Tried to ask to talk to a Manager about my account and teller said she could not help me. Teller did not even try retrieve a manager on duty or ask if she could sit with me when manager was done with current client. Had to go to another branch to get help. Avoid this branch at all costs if you need help with something. Save yourself the time and go somewhere where they will actually look at your account. Former Dunkirk Suntrust customer. Not very happy this is now my bank due to merger of the two banks.

We received exemplary service when we visited the bank, shortly before closing Saturday, Feb 1, 20 and spoke with Mr. Reid. Concerned about some charges and fraudulent activity on our account, Mr. Reid carefully listened, reviewed and corrected every issue. Although we ran past closing time, he did not rush us and treated us with great courtesy. Upon closing the conversation, he asked if we had any other concerns. We would like to thank him for his help and hope that Mr. Reid is recognized for his great customer service and management skills.

Not only are the tellers friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, but I find any manager I’ve dealt with just the same. I’ll continue to do business with Dunkirk SunTrust.

They’re really nice if you want to open an account. After that they are rude. Especially the manager. After waiting for 20 minutes for customer service to do a wire transfer her ‘friends’ came in. She asked me if I had been waiting. I said “yes I have.” She informed me that the people who just walked in (who she acknowledged and greeted and hugged) would be quick because they were just signing their closing documents. So I sat back down. 20 minutes later I left. I do not go into that branch and I’ll be closing that account. I need a bank who provides customer service.

The team of ladies here are AMAZING! I had an issue with my account and called the Waldorf location-wow, horrible customer service there-called my branch and AWESOME! They got me in and fixed my account issues and then some! This team is the BEST! I am a bankers daughter and left so happy I called my dad and told him! ☺️ the BEST!!!
