I love the people, hate the bank. Been with them for 6 yrs. They told me to go through CUDL for a car loan, cool. What i don't get is how a bank I have never done business with, can look at my scores and not only give me an insanely low interest rate with no money down, but my bank wanted me to put down 5,000 and get a co signer for the same car, it took me 3 months to be able to transfer money from my checking to my savings and even though they offer counter checks, I can't seem to be able to get any. I can't link the bank to any of the credit boost things I was trying to do, I just can't seem to make it work for me no matter how hard I try.

I cannot say how thankful I am for this CU. I hurt myself and was fired from my job ok the second surgery. I had my Mortgage and all my bills to pay for. Went from a high paying job to pretty much no pay. Every time I called for help they went above and beyond. Thank you Melissa for understanding my situation. I was a Lender for almost 20 years and pride myself on taking care of everything myself with a high credit score. This accident has hurt me more than anyone knows. I have talked to several people at the Credit Union and they have helped me above and beyond. I recommend this CU to anyone. If you communicate and try they will go above and beyond. Today I was feeling really down till Mellissa called. Thank you FrontierCU I will recommend you to anyone and will be forever grateful.

Unfortunately I do not recommend this credit union for anyone who has to relocate and cannot access their physical branch. They’ve made several mistakes since the onset of our banking duration with them. Prior to leaving Leavenworth I went in to establish online banking to do our auto loans. They mistakenly only did mine and not my husband‘s. So now that we’ve moved to another state the only way to pay without a fee is to do it at a shared branch credit union. Every new location ive been in ive called to get the nearest shared branch location without a problem. Today I had to speak with Anita who could not quite grasp the concept that I just wanted to know the nearest location, it doesn’t have to be in the exact same zip code, just the nearest within the state. Let me tell you that was an immensely hard task.

I have banked at this Credit Union since I moved to Leavenworth in 2013. Their strongest feature is their employees. They are friendly and veey helpful yet they are professional. The downside is the techbology. When I started the software and the website were the most user friendly I had ever used. Then someone made the decision to change software and it was a bad decision. First I lost the ability to send me Balance Alerts multiple times a day. Second we lost having our picture in our account so we were not asked for ID to make a transaction. So some nice young man set up a code for me to use so I didn't need my driver's license but with turn over I am being asked for ID again. Also very dangerous to security I lost the requirement for a password to make an external transfer. If someone hacks into my account at 2 am and I get a notice that an external transfer has been requested no one is?at the bank to stop it. We need that password protection. After an upgrade on May 6, the Balance Summary Alert and possibly other alerts are not working. I reported it on May 7 and as of May 10 it is not fixed. I stay for the people.

I closed my account months ago and decided to not leave a bad review because one of the ladies I last talked to before I left was pleasant.
Just today I find out they never closed my account even after asking them in person to do so and filling out all necessary steps. They also keep sending me new charges.
I got a car loan here once, terrible experience- people were rude, interest rate was incredibly high so I had to switch to another bank for that loan.
I had a savings and checking account there, any time I called to ask about being constantly charged small amounts every month, the ladies there had no answers and said they would fix this issue. They were also incredibly rude most if the time.
I was approved for a credit card and have great credit but they kept a $500 limit on all my cards, even after calling in person and requesting that to be removed. They were rude during those experiences too.
I understand each bank preforms under its own operations. There is no excuse for the rudeness and incompetence at this location.
PLEASE DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE.

I have had a great experience with this credit union. I've had an auto loan through them for about 4 years now. I was given a great rate and they've been very helpful every time I've needed to contact them which honestly hasn't been that often. I'm able to manage my payments and account electronically without any hiccups. I really couldn't ask for more.
