When Regions took over in Vincennes, there were locations and ATMs scattered all over town. Now they have closed all branches except for one and only one ATM and you're lucky if it works. I've also recently went in the only location left and only one teller was working. She was doing the dive thru and the desk inside. If I have to wait because Regions only has one location and can only afford to pay one teller, the I should be paid to wait for my time. Regions is a dying bank and that's exactly where they're headed.

Horrible experience. I went in to cash a large ins check and stated that i wanted their hold paper to be correct.. kaylee took offense.. probably at me continuing to talk as she talked over me.. she then tells me to leave her office and that i can take my business to another bank... then procedues to lecture me on behaviour in front of another worker.. refusing to go away from me when i asked repeatedly.. even after saying im depositing my departed husbands life ins... she has no business being around people and clearly not much in the way of experience.. worst bank EVER!!!!!

I've been a customer of Regions bank for five years, and in that time I told a lot of people good things about Regions. Unfortunately, as an engineering student and while I was injured I realized that Regions business model is to take advantage of people when they are low on money. Although a lot of banks have been offering no overdraft fees, Regions still charges around $35 up to give times a day for overdrafts even when the overdraft coverage is turned completely off. They refuse to account for your money in a way where they don't let money come out that isn't there unlike most modern money service providers. What use are they then? If you are looking for a bank that makes their money on poor students and injured people, Regions is the bank for you. If you want a bank that will tell you that they meet the bare minimum of government regulations, and be seemingly happy about that fact, Regions is the bank for you. If you don't want these things go with one of the many banks or money service providers that don't charge overdraft fees or any such fees such as Capital One or Chase. Banks should get their money from people who have money, not people facing hard financial times. Some people would do anything for a couple quick easy bucks, even if what they are doing is unethical. Do yourself and the rest of us a favor and go with a better bank until Regions changes their ways. I'm going to go today and close multiple Regions accounts now because of this issue.

Great offered services. But, extremely poor customer service. If most staff was changed out to people with better attitudes, or current staff would just be a little more customer friendly/caring, then they would get 5 stars from me. The 3 stars I am giving are strictly toward Regions itself. The two that are missing from this review are due to every conversation I have had with 4 out of 5 staff at this particular location. It’s never a “welcome guys! come on in” experience. Nor a “hi! how are you?” type of phone call. It’s usually a very rude, nonprofessional, or “i got better things to do” kind of vibe that’s put off. Which is not the kind of feeling you want whenever somebody is holding literally all of your life savings.
But again… Despite any of that, Regions itself is a great bank.

I've had an account here for years and some lady wouldn't cash a check for me because she felt like I didn't have enough money in my account. Extremely frustrating. Very judgmental. Im done with regions.

Long story short. We bought our home very cheap from a family member. We went to update it since we have our second child on the way. We were denied because the drive by appraisal was to low. All they did for the drive by appraisal was took what we paid for the home (which was cheap). And compared it to "similar" homes that went for that price. Houses didn't even compare to ours. After multiple attempts to contact the bank and the loan officer we were in contact with in order to explain the situation, we received a letter saying we were declined. So I can only assume the bank was ignoring us. I do not recommend using this bank for any reason.
