I have been with TCU for 17 year and always a big fan of them. But in June I was transferred over to their new online banking system. This review is focused on the faults of the system, but even more so of the company's handling of the issues. I have reported several issues with it. While the customer service personnel politely note the issues when I call, there is NEVER any follow up. The only issue I believe that I reported that appears to have been fixed was related to security. But even then, there was no follow up. This system was obviously forced to production too soon in order to meet some management deadline and not thoroughly tested to the level that a financial institution should require. The new system is missing capabilities that the old system had, including no ability to export data. Additionally it has several design issues. This untested rollout shows a total disregard of their customer experience.
We have begun moving to a bank as a result, probably keeping a small amount money in TCU to keep some of the credit union benefits. I no longer have trust in TCU.

The very kindest, most helpful group of customer service agents I've ever worked with here! I opened a new account, set up a card and online banking in a jiffy! They called several times to check up on me and answered questions promptly! Feels like the best kind of hometown banking at a credit union! 5 Stars and highly recommend for professionalism and security!

Don’t waste your time calling. It would be faster to get in your car and drive there. After waiting on hold twice for 30 minutes and getting hung on I think anyone reading this can get my point.

STAY AWAY! NEVER finance with this place
Response to the owner: your representative lied to me. I was told to make a payment on nov.28 and it wouldn't go on my report. I did that and still went on my report. I was in constant contact with you. I told u when I could make a payment and was told it would be okay. Had I not been lied to I would have taken better precautions. But your credit union is a shady place just look at your reviews. I wish I would have seen them before I financed with you. Furthermore, who ever told you she tried to help is lying she did absolutely nothing to help. She kept repeating "there's nothing we can do". Great customer service.

Called day before to ask if they cash savings bonds. I informed the teller on the phone that I utilize shared branching at that location.
She replied “yes we do, all you have to do is fill out the section on the back before you come up to a teller and have that part done”.
Showed up today to cash my bonds and was told “no sorry you have to be a member”
I called the day before and informed them I was not. Perhaps if your tellers were more worried about serving their customers and less about being slightly inconvenienced while waiting for customers to fill out slips my afternoon wouldn’t have been wasted for no reason.

Pam Weaver and Dean Riggs let me get screwed out of 2k from a dealership. That same day Pam was going around to all the dealerships and smooshing around with plates of cookies. How do I know, because I was smuggly told by the dealership manager. I no longer want to do business with a credit union that doesn't put their members first, but makes sure to stay in bed with scummy businesses. Will be moving my money ASAP.
