I live in Michigan but I was approved in by Community Wide in Indiana when I made a vehicle purchase in Indiana. They offered me a MUCH lower interest rate than my two credit unions in Michigan of which I've been a member of for over 20 years. They have been nothing but kind and helpful, I love the ease of use of their website and today my interactions with Nicole was extremely pleasant. Thank you all for the superb service!

The online service really needs work. The method in which loan payments are made is not intuitive, and when I actually try to use it correctly, the service will not take payments during weekends or holidays. However, the payment method through by debit card will always work, and naturally there’s always a service charge. I’ve also been told in the past by management that they would refund the service charge one time, but that never happened.
Granted, these are minor things, hence my three stars. However, your site shouldn’t be this asinine to operate. One should just be able to click “pay loan” and automatically select the method of payment. Also, when I get a verification code for login, I could really care less about a long winded letter about safety from your CEO with EVERY single notification text message. I just want the code—a short sentence should suffice.
Seriously, hire better web developers. There’s a ton of good options out there.

My encounter with their teller Jarred has always been top notch and he's personable and kind!!
They have the Best Rates Too!! A Bonus!:)

I would like to commend the front-line staff at Communitywide Federal Credit Union for its professional, expedient, and friendly customer service. I am always greeted with a smile by the knowledgeable staff and receive the same exceptional customer service experience whether I am doing in-person or phone-in transactions. In addition to exceptional customer service, Communitywide FCU also offers the best dividend rates in town!

I got an auto loan, tried to get my husband's name on my savings account. They wanted to do a credit check to do so. Tried to sign in online and was told to call and give my email address to them in order to do so. Called and they need something signed in order to add email address. Everything I need to do has been met with opposition. Stick with Teacher's Credit Union. They are very accommodating. I will be transferring my loan elsewhere.

I paid off my loan several years early to avoid dealing with this company any longer. I tried to pay it off on the app, and it was going to charge me a $5 fee to pay it off from my checking account. I called and was told there was no way to avoid the $5 fee regardless of what pay source I used unless I went in a branch. There aren't any branches in my town. Crazy! I also recommend you watch your account closely because I had an issue with a payment not showing on my account. They fixed it quickly when I called but, it should not have happened in the first place.

I literally feel like most of the tellers don't want to be at the job, doing their job. They always answer the phone with an attitude, like they don't want to be answering the phone and helping their members. It doesn't matter if I call or go into any of the offices. I feel like 75% of their employees just don't care to be there. If your happy, you make your customer happy, a smile is contagious, or a nice attitude is contagious. If you're rude and have an attitude, of course thats gonna rub off on other people. I've also never had so many issues with community wide in the whole time I've been a member. Between the debit cards not working sometimes, their app not working half the time, asking one manager n they don't know how to do their job, so I have to contact another manager to get answers and help. It should not be like this. I would change credit unions, but both my hubbys check and my checks go into those accounts and we have loans thru CW. I really hope that one day CW can get their ducks in a row. Also to add: I've had one of their employees send me my title in the mail, after I refinanced and it was paid off, letter said paid in full. I did return the title, but CW couldn't make any exceptions for me to skip a payment or anything or give me extra time to pay. Then I had a new loan opened for a truck and my loan company sent me the title, instead of sending it to CW, which we didn't know what to do with the title, the said they sent multiple letters , even said they tried to contact us(which they never did) threatened to repo our truck. This was on them. The only letter I got, said it was a second attempt, which I never even got the first letter. Of course I took the title in. But man, do they do things unprofessional there.

Community Wide theft! These folks will steal your money! They took my loan at 10.99% loan after they added a $199.00 loan fee. The only way I can pay my bill is mailing it to them, otherwise they charge me even more just to pay. They can't even send my bill out until it's due. They don't care about their clients at all!!!!
