A very good bank overall. Their app is very glitchy though and it doesn't work a lot of the time.

The branch manager cut me off mid-sentence while I was asking a question about the policy she was explaining and never came back over the intercom. It was not very professional and as an 11 year member of Beacon I am pretty discouraged by the customer service today.

Beacon keeps having problem after problem (and they are progressively get worse). What is going on with them? Back in July, I told Beacon that I would be traveling to Ohio weeks before I Ieft. I told them not to mark my transactions as potentially "suspicious" because it would be me actually using my card. Guess what? When I tried to buy things in Ohio, my debit card declined, and Beacon declared my transactions as "suspicious" anyway even though I told them weeks in advance where I would be at.
Also, they recently declined my debit card at the State Fairgrounds when I attempted to buy somethings at the Christmas Holiday convention. They declined my card because the vendor "wasn't well-known" and because the vendor lives in New York when he wasn't going to events. I asked them for clarification on what "well-known" means in their opinion, and they couldn't give me a straight answer.
