I used to recommend ProFed to everyone, not anymore. I have had 3 mortgages with Profed, with the latest being done August 2020. I have made 19 mortgage payments along with principal payments each time. I have had to call to have payments corrected 16 of the 19 times as they are forever being mis-applied. I am now on hold again with no one ever actually picking up the phone in the mortgage department. The digital banking is pointless, it offers principal only options that then get mis-applied as a regular payment. As I am holding, I have now been hung up on. August 2021, I spent one hour and 45 minutes in a branch trying to get payments properly applied. I realize this seems like a rant, but come on! You handle money and with this type of service, how are we to trust you??

My family has been with ProFed for probably 20 years. Up until recently we have been very satisfied and we are still satisfied with the folks we interact with in the branches. However, the recent "upgrade" to the online banking is absolutely terrible. We can no longer link with Quicken, Personal Capital, Fidelity or any other financial institution. The worst part is that they know there is a problem and are not communicating to their customers about it. It is not acceptable that in 2021 I have to transfer funds by mail. If this does not correct itself soon we will be taking our banking elseware.

The assistant branch manager Mel, made the process of obtaining a loan super easy and convenient. We were able to do everything over the phone, and she was very responsive and professional in getting us what we needed. Would recommend.

Have been banking with them over ten years. Had a accidental overdraft that they fixed up for me. Low interest rates on credit. Customer serivice is always great when I come in!
