During a current transition of systems, so I’m now told, there has been no initial contact by this Credit Union that it was even happening. I was at a store, got declined 4 times with 40K in my checking account.
Tried to call Branch ALL day. No answer. Finally went there and found out they are having a “system” change. We got no email, no letter, no COMMUNICATION that anything was going to happen and to be aware of it.
They couldn’t even let me know when things would be back to normal.
There are hardly any tellers at this Branch in Preston. Extremely difficult to do business here. I wish I had not brought our business there. There have been several issues since we opened our accounts.
Forgot to order our checks.

Now we can’t use our debit cards…..ridiculous!!!

Low to no customer service for loan application. Also, the website and software they use to gather loan applications is quite old and there is no way to upload documents through it. You end up emailing all the documents to them and it just isn't organized.

I always prefer credit unions over banks, but I was super disappointed when the credit union I was with starting charging $5/months. I switched to Advantage plus and we take advantage of their KASASA program and they PAY US about $45 a month to bank with them. That was a switch! My teen children also have accounts and debit cards through Advantage and it’s super easy for me to transfer money to and from their account a when I owe them or they owe me.
