This bank has left me in the gutter multiple times. I’ve had “pending transactions” that have gone through; and still held over my account for 2 days straight. Even after the payment had been cleared and charged to my account. For clarity I was charge $250 for a hotel stay. Once the payment went through and a $250 charge hit my account you would think the pre charge would leave. Instead the bank told me they had no reason to believe the charge had gone through, leaving me negative for 2 days straight in a blizzard. Requesting to have charges investigated turns into getting locked out of your account for 5-7 business days. Pathetic branch

Teller Julia B. Was extremely rude upon service, asked me if my sister next to me couldn’t speak for herself or didn’t have a voice. I don’t take this lightly as my sister next to me is/was extremely sick at the time Plus I had already spoke with client service for her and that is why I was doing the talking. Manager Alex did not even ask the name of the teller as I was making the complaint. We both felt very rushed to get out of the building. I feel as if this bank has 0 customer service skills, and 0% ability to problem solve when a situation like this arises am not pleased with the service I was dealt today.
As it stands I had to rate this bank 1 Star to post this comment but I give 0 stars as my ultimate review.

I have been banking here since 1999 and have always been treated well. Don Martin gave us our first house mortgage 21 years ago and we have worked with many different loan officers including Bret Olson and Lee Hansen. I wanted to say many thanks to our current loan officer, Rick Gosney, who worked Saturday and Sunday to process a PPP federal loan for our business during this COVID-19 crisis—he knew our business was forced to be be shut down and how important this loan was to us. Thank you Rick and everyone at CBI.

I’ve had friends speak of this bank because they cash checks for people with no account free of charge. Figured they would give out a money order then for a small fee. I don’t bank in the area so I figured this would be perfect. Was wrong. They require you to have an account to get a money order. Stupid. Won’t return, won’t recommend. Will take my business to Hy Vee, who seem to have no problem charging .70 for a money order.

I recently had an issue with my bank account having an unauthorized amount taken out of my checking account. I called CBI to report the problem and talked to Diego Amaro. I was very upset, but he quickly looked into the problem, and assured me that my account had not been compromised, but my debit card had. He immediately suspended my card and managed to turn the unauthorized amount around so that it was back in my account in no time. Now I have a new debit card and great appreciation for the manner in which Diego helped me. Such a courteous, kind, and helpful young man who provided an immediate solution to the problem!. CBI knows how to provide customer service and Diego is living proof of that. Thank you!

I had reported fraudulent charges done on my account from a website/company that I have never used before and they refused to do anything about it. I had the charges occure while I was incarcerated and they still refused to do anything at all. I will never do business with them again and I will tell people about this. It's funny how when you say you don't want to be allowed to overdraft they allow it then charge you not once but twice.

Diego has given me a great service. No matter how complex seems to be the situation for me, he always finds a way to simplify it for me and give me a variation of solutions. Even ends up doing all the hard work for me. Indeed also helping me if I have any issues with the language since he's bilingual. 10/10.
