I have been banking with Vibrant for 4 years. I have banked with other credit unions and traditional banks. Vibrant is by far been the best. Very friendly at the branches and on calls for anything I have ever needed! They work with you on any service I have needed and stopped a charge I did not make before it became a problem.

This review is specifically for this branch and not the company as a whole. I decided to get a vehicle loan through this credit union a few years ago and everything was smooth sailing. I had a few issues trying to enroll for online banking but soon got it worked out. When I finally got on I realized that I had a few months worth of "late payment fees". Now I know everything was set up properly and I for certain have the money to pay on the loan every month. So, I started by driving down to my local Clinton branch and talking to someone in person since I can't stand email or over the phone. They identified my issues and said they couldn't fix it themselves, so they took my name and number down and mentioned they'd give it to a personal banker at the headquarters. Weeks go by, no phone call.. nothing. I go back.. same people, blowing the same smoke. Okay, message received. The employees at this location do not have the time to resolve my issues nor do they care. Fast forward, this whole process has now given me almost a years worth of "late payment fees" and no one is willing to help figure this out. I finally get ahold of Ian (HQ, personal banker) and within a few months we had it taken care of. Turns out when my paperwork was being filled out, it had incorrect dates and a recurring payment. So it just slapped me with a ton of late fees since the Clinton branch incorrectly submitted my paperwork. It took me hounding them for almost 18 months to get anything done. This is unacceptable and super unprofessional. I'm almost payed off and will never be returning to "the best darn credit union." I recommend anyone reading this to be careful with this company.

I found a vechicle i fell in love with so I called to look into a loan. The people I dealt with were very courteous and the process was painless. I inquired one day and the next day I had a check in my hands. I'm just very happy and everyone was so helpful

I have had an account at the Clinton IA location for a few years now. Over that long period of time I have had ZERO issues with my account. The staff is friendly and are happy to help me with questions and things of that nature anytime I come in. I recently moved to southern Florida which is wayyy out of their footprint. I decided to leave my account open with Vibrant, cause why not. When I arrived to Florida I opened new bank accounts with multiple banks, all which have screwed me over in some way, which has lead me to keep " bank hopping". Since vibrant has been so good to me, I have decided to get direct deposit set up at the CLINTON IA location from almost 1800 miles away. I will deposit money to this account as well as keep an active savings account. Thank you for never giving me and issues

After 6 years of Vibrant, what started out as a great experience, has gone horribly wrong. Paying off my vehicle and closing all my accounts today. Very poor customer service by MacKenzie in the loan department. Just wanted to pay off my loan. Other bad experiences over the last year as well. Toady WAS the last straw.
