My daughter is 15 years old and opened her first checking and saving accounts at FSB. I loved the way they treated HER as the customer rather then just me. They engaged with her and took the time to answer her questions. She uses her mobile access to regularly to monitor purchases and automatic deposits from work and says it's easy to use. This has been a great experience for her to start learning about financial independence and I am so proud she made the choice to support a locally owned business! I highly recommend Farmers Savings Bank to anyone looking to open a new account or seek lending!

Love this bank! Nancy is always so nice and knows me by name! Actually feels welcoming when I come inside or the drive thru! They were very helpful when it came to buying our house and the 50 million papers I had to have them print!

Their new management is pretty bad. Their loan officers act like they're doing you a favor, and act like you're bothering them. Overall customer service isn't very good either.
Tried to deposit a check made out to my wife and myself. BOTH of us endorsed the check. They told us they couldn't deposit it because both our names weren't on the account. I have a checking account and Danville bank - they deposited it without any problem.
However, when my son went to the drive up to get the check back, they didn't do anything to verify his identity.
Seriously? That seems ironic.
Talked to a person in lending last week about trying to get a loan to buy a truck. The woman I talked to wasn't very nice. She acted like I was bothering her.
I think it's time to switch my accounts.

They are really rude. They act like we as customers are a bother. Ever since Mary and Steve left, I really hate going here for banking. So definitely looking for a different bank.

The one-star reviews for this bank are 2 years ago, I'm assuming they've improved. My husband and I don't have any customer service problems with them. We opened accounts for both our boys here. We have checking, savings and got a car loan here. Some tellers may still be learning the job, but come on, that's the way it is everywhere. High turnover and low pay = inexperienced employees. My doggie loves going to the drive thru because they always give her a treat!
