I am a finance manager at a dealership and rely on CORE Credit Union heavily. They are always prompt in their responses, get everything accurate on the first pass, and treat our mutual customers with courtesy and respect. To me, one of the most telling things about the quality of experience that CORE provides is the fact that I have customers come in and request we use CORE specifically on their deal.
Zack Rogers, the loan rep I work with provides outstanding service and could not be better partner to work with. Jim Thibodeau makes sure our relationship stays outstanding and really reaches out to us a lot to learn new ways CORE can stay ahead of the curve and constantly improve.
All in all they are a great company to work with and I could not be more pleased to have a partner like them to give my customers the help they need. Can't recommend CORE highly enough.

Warning: if you are used to a large, corporate banks with NORMAL features like mobile check depositing, being able to access your funds within seven days of depositing a check, speaking with a customer service department, etc.; Do NOT choose Core. We were so excited about switching to a small town, local bank and have been sadly disappointed. You cannot swipe your debit card for more than $1,000 in a 24 hour period. They don't tell you this when you become a member. By the way, this includes bill pays. So if you pay anything online: mortgage, electric, car payment, you know, standard bills that normal people have, this goes towards your debit purchases. You won't be using your debit card once every month when it's time to pay bills! So you can just call and get the limit raised, right? Good luck getting someone on the phone. When traveling, you can find a shared network branch to be able to make a withdrawal once you have reached your daily limit. Simple, right? Wrong again. You will find yourself driving 45 minutes in the opposite direction to access funds. So if you are looking for a bank account that you aren't planning on using, CORE is the credit union for you. But if you intend on using your checking account like any other normal person, seek services elsewhere.

i do not recommend this bank for anyone. Horrible customer service, absolutely no service over the weekend, daily limit is $500-$1000 a day. Had to pay a $1200 bill once and it took 3hrs just to do that! I will be parting from this bank very soon. It’s a headache guys. My bank merged with Core last year and it’s been hell ever since. Worst decision

Free checking that pays interest; great loan rates; remote deposit app; free online bill pay to anyone, anywhere. I got cash from my Core account from ATMs in Mexico with no fees. There are daily limits on ATM withdrawals, for your safety, but I rarely need cash anyway. For large purchases from someone who won’t accept credit cards, the friendly folks at Core will provide you with a free “cashier’s check” which is better/safer than cash. Their online branch lets you link and monitor multiple accounts which is great for helping your children learn to manage their own money. I use the big boys for my mortgage, because they had the lowest interest rate at the time, and for my credit card service because they pay me 2% cash back, but for everything else, you can’t beat Core Credit Union!

Rude customer service experience! I was charged for an amount that an ATM did not give me and was not reimburse. I will be moving my money from my savings asap and putting into another bank. Long time coming.

When my only vehicle died coming out of the Pandemic I had an opportunity to sign up for a membership at a former employer, I did this solely for the purpose of securing a loan at a decent rate and term. Paperwork was no problem, fairly simple process. I went to a dealership and found the vehicle that would do what I need it to and of course ordered it expecting a wait (borrowing a vehicle while waiting a year for the supplychain issues from the manufacture to be resolved). Once I got a price on the vehicle I contacted Core to speak about loan rates on the vehicle price, I was contacted once on this and told someone would call me back…
I waited and waited called back several time over the next few weeks never getting any quote. So the day my vehicle comes in I’m literally sitting in the dealership trying to secure a loan and I decide against my better judgment to give core one more chance as I figured something may have just been lost in translation. I called and explained To someone Named Juanita that I was literally sitting in the dealership and I gave her the financed amount and term, I repeated the numbers she said for my wife to hear as she wasn’t on speakerphone. Juanita then commences to jumping down my throat and accusing me of not trying to secure a loan but I’m shopping around for a loan and then tells me we’re ending this conversation now and hangs up on me. The whole conversation felt very predatory and unprofessional at that point. I will Never Use this company again for anything, I won’t allow my family to either. I should’ve known When they kept bringing the “predatory fried chicken” to my place of employment to get people to talk to them…
Who doesn’t shop around for a loan? A moron that’s who.
