Interstate is excellent. Their customer service is stellar. I saw that someone had a complaint about regulating your own money. Before I make large or multiple purchases I alert the credit union. I also inform them when I'm going out of town. The system is set up to recognize irregularities in your spending habits to prevent fraud. I recall purchasing gas in Jesup one morning and by 10am
I received a fraud alert from Interstate because someone had tried to make a purchase in California.
They knew that it was impossible for me to make that transaction at a brick and mortar building since my gas purchase was at 7:15am.
I know that it's a little inconvenient, but what is more inconvenient is to find that all of your money has been withdrawn fraudulently.
So I'm glad that they have this safeguard.
Just remember to notify them.
When adjusting my daily limit I always over estimate how much I will need in the event of an emergency.

I’ve banked with IUFCU for 25 years. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve actually had the opportunity to meet associates in multiple branches; Jesup, Baxley and Hazelhurst GA. I encourage all IUFCU members to give their own encouragement to family and friends because IUFCU is a great place for all banking needs.

The people are excellent. However the banking app is sub par at best. I do believe.in security but if you get forget your password you get one chance to reset it or you have to call the bank. The questions they give you to remember aren't something relevant for me to think about with banking. You cant take care of the bill pay side without leaving the app you logged into. Whomever is in charge should get customer input.

I needed a way to help my elderly mom in cases of emergency. She is not very comfortable with banking and paperwork. Faye Dixon walked us through the process step by step and helped us set up just what we needed. Her caring and compassionate spirit was just what we needed for a delicate situation. She still answers questions whenever we call, even though she is not at the branch my mother uses. Kudos!!!

Any issues that have arrived over the years have been promptly handled in a professional way. I have had the opportunity to speak with the Bank Manger ( Jesup Location) and could not be more pleased with the outcome. Thankfully there are still places and business that appreciate you and care enough to reach out if concerns arise. Thank you
