They're helpful because they want your money for things you can do for free. Also, if you're in default on your loans, the information they provide is absolutely NOT accurate. I came into contact with one of their oh-so-friendly and seemingly knowledgeable representatives by calling a number from an old bill from the Department of Education which is the organization I was actually intending to contact. How is it that an old number to the Dept of Education is now somehow linked to them? This company is the epitome of a perfectly-devised and well-executed scam.

I called them because my current loans were really high and they offered me a nice payment option. Their customer service was great and i have to mention two people that helped out, Andy and Kathy both were really nice and more than professional. I suggest this company to anyone who needs help with their loan.

Don't be fooled by this company. What they do is tell loan ridden students that they can solve your issues for you and get your loan payments down to 0-$30 a month. What they don't tell you is that YOU CAN DO THIS YOURSELF ON THE FAFSA SITE. DO NOT PAY THEM. They sound like a legitimate govt company, but they are not. I thought they were some extension of the govt loan forgiveness program, but that was false. They are profiting on desperate students, and instead of pointing them the right way, they ask for your personal info and submit your documents, charge you, and leave you in the dust. Go to a govt page and get counseling from there.

I saw the ad on instagram didn't think much of it. But because of my curiousity I decided to call. To my surprise student loan help center definitely was helpful. The representatives were not only extremely nice but helped me every step of the way. They consolidated my loans and now I am no longer in default! Danielle is absolutely the best.

They were initially really helpful with information. However, Andy mislead me and fed me wrong information just to get me to do services with them. They charged me 795 dollars for absolutely nothing. I called back to cancel my services with them and Mercedes accused me of being the one at fault and that Andy would not tell me the information he did. She refused to transfer me to his line as well. I told her to listen to the recorded phone call because all of it would be there have not heard back from them. DO NOT USE THEM do it yourself on line. F these people
