Today, I went to this bank to withdraw some cash for a vacation my wife and I are taking next week. I had to go to the teller line because I needed to withdraw more than the $500 ATM limit. I am a BB&T customer, and have withdrawn over $500 from this SunTrust location several times, but today the teller told me (after first saying I couldn't get any money) that I would have to drive across town or run my card as credit. I asked if there was a fee for running my debit card as a credit, but she couldn't tell me. She told me I needed to call and ask. I told her that won't work, she should know this because BB&T and SunTrust are merging. After some more back and forth (in which I told her to stop interrupting and talking over me), she finally agreed to find out if there was a fee. That is when another employee (dressed in business attire; so maybe a manager?) yelled from across the lobby that I was the one who was talking over her and that I "need to get out of here" if I talk over any of them again. I said I'm the customer and he can't treat me like that. He then threatened to call the police. I asked if he was really threatening to call the police (I never once cursed, screamed, or threatened anyone in any shape or form). He then picked up the phone as if he were calling the police. I laughed and told him in order to trespass me, he has to actually ask me to leave. He then told me to "leave now!" and I did without saying another word.
I really hope somebody in charge reviews this incident. Even if I was being rude (I wasn't), to call the police for this is insanity. This guy called the police on me without ever asking me to leave. I just wanted to pull some money out and make sure I wouldn't get charged an arm and a leg for doing so. Apparently, that is a chargeable offense in this person's eyes. Unless BB&T/SunTrust/Truist fixes this immediately, I will take my business elsewhere.

ATM always broken, tellers are rude and try to be as slow as possible. Literally take great pains to do whatever you are asking them for as slowly as they can. So glad we are changing banks. Someone else will buy this pathetic excuse for a bank out soon and maybe they will turn this hot mess around. But I doubt it.

Worst customer services ever got in Bank, they have 4 people behind the counter laughing and Giggling, & people waiting for 1 banker . Guy was given task by Manager to do simple wire transfers, took his sweet time, checking his Cell phone & of course lots of bs with other bankers , when was ask how long it’s gonna take he said he’s gonna take his time as much as he want. He’s telling customer that you don’t tell me to hurry up. I’ve been waiting there since 15 minutes to do the simple wire transfer, it’s not even international wire transfer, my other bank who does international wire transfer less than 10 minutes, this guy does not want to work, should not open the account over here in the begin with. I would have given zero star. Closing account .

I'd give it 0 or negative stars if I could. Got an email from Truist Bank for a bonus offer if I I opened a checking account with them and made direct deposits from my employer over a certain dollar amount & the bonus was $400. I called Truist Bank several times, but no answer, so I drove to the bank & was met Sonia who immediately told me they'd be closing in 15 minutes. She was annoyed to help and it was clear. Then I opened up the email I had received and also showed her the promotion code as well. Little did I know, she started the process and put in another code that she claimed was the same thing. Turns out, had she put in the promo code I had in the email, it would have shown for opening an online bank account only. So, two day later she calls me and tells me that I didn't qualify for the promo because not only did she enter the wring promo, but the promo I had in the email, was for online only & since she already set up an account, I'm no longer a new customer and do not qualify for the $400 bonus. You wanna talk about straight up fraud and negligence. The case has been escalated and if they do not honor the promo that Sonia screwed up, I will make sure everyone knows to steal clear of Truist Bank. This is shady b.s. that Sonia pulled. They need to honor the promo she screwed up! Make it right #TruistBankOcalaFlirida
