I asked for a loan a couple months ago for 8 grand and they accepted me but i did not take it because i ended up not needing it anymore (something fell through). I applied for a different loan for 3 grand this time and they didn’t get back to me til 3 or 4 days later (the day i need it). Not to mention every day i called the office and asked for the person dealing with my loan and EVERY TIME the receptionist told me that the person was on a call. They proceeded to tell me that they cannot give me a loan for 3 grand because i needed a co-signer with better credit than i, when my credit is in the 800s which is GREAT… I am very disappointed and will not be applying for anymore loans with OneMain.

GHETTO!
I got a letter in the mail offering me a loan so i go online to see what it’s about and am asked for my basic information and am prompted to expect a call from an officer to help me apply for a loan. I got a call later from a girl named Nessa whom then asked me for all my financial information as well as my mothers who was going to cosign once we knew what it entailed. My mother didn’t want to open her accounts to them because she has a lot to lose so she told me no and instructed me to call these people and not go further with the application. That she would just give me the money. I only looked into this to get my 740 credit score to a perfect credit score not because i need the money.I did that. I never submitted either my mother’s financial information nor mine. I told her to withdraw my my application but what she did was submit it and deny it for my mother not having enough income. Mind you my mother is very well off. They only had our basic info. She made 2 hard inquiries and denied an incomplete application instead of just withdrawing it. Mind you i have a credit card with One Main financial for $3,000 that still has 3k untouched.My mother calls me flipping cause they submitted a loan application in her name when my mother clearly said no she refused to open her accounts. I call the branch when i asked to speak to the branch manager for clarity she hangs up the phone twice where i had to keep calling back and when I ask to speak to someone a woman named Judith gets on the line. I then begin to explain what happened she starts giggling as soon as i start speaking as if getting ready to argue with me and goes on to do so claiming I submitted the application online and recite the call times claiming calls are recorded. Yea i know they’re recorded so clearly you hear me tell this girl that my mother was not going to cosign for me and that i no longer wanted to go any further. With my mother attached. I should have known by their voices what i was gonna be dealing with. They sound like hoodrats. I called the corporate office who proceded to look into it all and told me that it was enough to be approved with only my information. That my mothers information was never necessary being that they sent me the letter and clarifying what i was hoping JUDITH could have done. I got an apology and told that as a costumer they hope i try again because they aim to be the most professional they can and help their customers as much as they can. THIS OFFICE IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.

Danielle( sorry if I spelled that wrong) was my loan agent. She explained everything to me and was patient to make sure I understood the whole process. I ended up not being able to come in to finish the application due to my job. I also was unable to call her at my 9:30 appointment time. But she was still able to squeeze me in at 12:30 where I ended up calling her from my truck and completing the process over the phone. And even during that call my phone died! Once I restarted the phone she was calling me back! I didn’t even have to call her back. So the whole experience 10/10 100% recommend Danielle

Very disappointed with the service I received. Loyal and pay my bill yet still couldn’t get this company too work with me on my payment amount. Have paid extra every month and have been on time always.
