My mom suggested I bank with McCoy Federal and I have no regrets! They are always so super helpful and willing to answer any questions I have. I ended up being a McCoy customer when I financed my vehicle purchase. I started receiving statements telling me they were charging me a paper statement fee. I had never been given the option to go paperless so why would they charge me a fee? They told me to create an online profile to go paperless. I then set up auto payments and basically thought I could just forget about it. Fast forward about six months and I start getting charged for paper statements again. I called McCoy and it was explained that since I hadn’t logged into my account in some time, they deleted my profile and reverted me back to paper. What!? So if I don’t go into your physical branch in six months, will I be banned from going in? It doesn’t make any sense. Their systems seem very archaic and unsophisticated. So much so, and my experience with them was so poor, that I paid off my $10,000 loan balance three years before it was due, so I no longer have to deal with McCoy Federal credit union. Yes it was that bad.

Met with the personnel at Clermont branch on Tuesday dec 27th. Both ladies were very pleasant and helpful. Opened new account and cashed in multiple savings bonds that had matured. Took advantage of terrific CD rate.
Since we are retired higher interest rates are quite important. Looking forward to future dealings with Melania.

We recently open a new checking and savings account at McCoy Federal credit union and Melania did excellent job helping us with the process. We highly recommend it this bank and ask for Melania to help you with all your needs.

Headaches. Somehow, this account, which I haven’t even touched in months, was in a chargeoff(!!) status, completely unbeknownst to me. I just came in to exchange some coins, and instead ended up having to pay McCoy for something I had no clue existed. Afterwards, I was told that, in this age of online banking and near unlimited banking options, McCoy wanted to charge me a TEN DOLLAR OER MONTH fee for basic checking. Felt a little like extortion.
No matter. Fortunately, Melania at the counter is a superhero. Clearly she’s unable to change banking policies she didn’t create, but she was as helpful and polite as anyone could ask for, even through my frustration. She is to be commended, because I can sometimes be a jerk when faced with simple issues made difficult by bad policy. Please promote her to customer care manager. She earned it.

I visited McCoy FCU on 9/1/2023 in the Clermont branch. I was greeted by the staff and the wait for service wasn't long. Melania, a customer service representative was very professional in assisting me with my paper work. She made the experience very pleasant. Thank you Melania!
