We set an appointment to open an account as a new customer. Showed up 10 minutes early and waited in the lobby as instructed. We waited in the lobby for 40 additional minutes with no help. We asked for an update and we were told It would be another 15-20 minutes. Just unprofessional to have people sitting and waiting for help without anyone from the credit union coming to speak with us. Understanding everyone is short staffed, but if that’s the case someone should tell us we aren’t able to meet at the scheduled time, or can we reschedule. Our time is just as valuable as everyone else’s and this location does not seem to care. We ultimately left and went with a credit union down the street. I would not recommend this credit union, as they do not value customers. If we were treated like this when try to give them money to open a new account, I can only imagine how they treat people who actually bank with them.

Can't say enough good things about Fairwinds. Everyone is extremely nice and so helpful. Have used them for multiple loans and am beyond thrilled to brag about them. Their rates are fantastic and they make it simple for folks of any age to feel special. Jessica Canfield helped with our most recent loan and she went the extra mile to spoil us with celebrity treatment.

I left the Clermont branch to go to the Winter Garden branch that was one of the biggest mistake of my life… i’ve been a member for over 25 years and the Winter Garden branch customer service was just terrible I definitely apologize to Chad and all the awesome team over in the Clermont office I don’t know why I made a foolish move to change locations but I definitely apologize and will not happen again I realize over the 25 years you have been totally excellent and when I get back in town I will definitely buy the pizzas for your team may God continue to bless you and your staff….. Worst phone customer service, I called because my debit card keeps getting declined even though I have over 6K in there. They had me waiting on the phone for over 45 minutes. They also told me the had no record of my debit card it’s crazy. I’m going to my local branch to close the account on Monday.

Went to the open a new account on Friday the 11th of September 2020. The lobby hours are posted until 6pm. I entered the lobby and was told to leave immediately. They stated it was closed and i would have to open a new account through the drive through. Horrible customer service and I decided to take my business else where. Want to say a few other things, but I don't want to speculate.

Ryan was exceptional! He set up my teens first checking and savings account. He was so knowledgeable, personable, and kind. My kiddo suffers from extreme anxiety in new situations. He took time to thoroughly show her how to use the app and the debit card without an aire of judgement or of being inconvenienced. He made her first experience with finances so very positive. I've been with the bank for years but I've never used this branch. My debit card got compromised and after calling customer service several times, I never received my replacement card and had to cancel. It would've got me $50 to get it expedited. After 2 weeks with no card, I decided to travel 30 minutes to this location because my branch wasn't open on a Saturday. The building was big, clean and we got helped right away. We only had to wait 10 minutes to meet with someone to get a new card. The employee also spoke with me about how to get interest on my savings account, something my normal branch failed to do. 100% worth the ride to this location. I couldn't be happier with the service.
