We have banked with Redwood Credit Union for several years. Without exception, they have been terrific. Whether it is customer service in branch, online or over the phone, they are courteous and responsive. It is clear that they value their members. A+

Dmv sent me to my bank to have them sign papers to change my name on my registration & I actually didn’t need them to. The girl at the counter was so nice, she filled my paper work out and everything for me just to see at the end I had to sign and no where on the paperwork was a place for them to sign or approve anything. Thank you for the help.

There are many good things about Redwood Credit Union. But I'm dropping my review to 3 stars. I went to deposit cash into my account via the ATM and it kept telling me that it couldn't take my deposit and to check back later.
It was before lobby hours and even if it had been open I wouldn't have gone in because I had my son with me (his in the higher risk category for Covid related complications).
I seldom use the ATM here since mobile deposit and direct deposit became the norm, but this has never happened to me before with any other financial institution...

I absolutely love RCU and this branch especially! The tellers are really awesome and understanding. I've travelled Europe and India and never had outrageous charges for getting local currency from an ATM. When I needed extra money travelling, it was no hassle to have my friend deposit some cash in my account. Can't recommend RCU enough!

Leslie Mendoza I have to say was absolutely amazing!!! She was able to refinance mine and my husbands car in such a smooth way!! I highly recommend RCU she was exceptional and met all of our needs and was able to adequately answer all of our questions. It’s wonderful being able to walk into RCU and get such professional customer service.

I called redwood credit union because I was interested in purchasing a vehicle that they currently hold a lien on in a private sale. The difficulty of the paperwork involved in purchasing a vehicle in a private sale aside, my phone call was answered by Cecilia who was immediately snippy with me when I was unfamiliar with the process of how to get them to release the lien with the title sent to me instead of the current registered owner. It was disappointing to be met with frustration from someone while trying to gather information in an already difficult process. I can't provide any commentary on how the credit union is as a bank, but if my current bank treated me the same, I'd be looking elsewhere.
