I've banked with Patelco for several years and have always found their tellers and staff to be warm and welcoming. They always acknowledge patrons and if the tellers are very busy the managers step in and keep the line moving. They inform me of new offers, rates, etc. I love supporting a local business. Great job Patelco!

To clarify, Google considers "poor" and "fair" service to be the same score. This review uses the "fair" definition, as the people working in Patelco weren't incompetent...just not very helpful.
Each time I have entered in the past, I am immediately struck with the sense that I am not welcome nor is my business welcome. Despite often being the only customer in the room, a three to five minute wait is not uncommon before being acknowledged. The tellers won't even look up at you when you enter through the door. You could probably walk in with a ski-mask on and nobody would notice for several minutes. They seriously give off the impression that they just don't care, or that they're pretending you aren't there.
Today was a bit insulting. The teller looked up, made eye contact with me, and then said, "I'll be right with you." She then decided that now was the perfect time to completely reorganize her desk. She picked up and stacked some papers, moved her stapler from one side of the desk to the other, fiddled with her pens, and I am not kidding, got up and threw away a water bottle. Once done, she quietly sat down, took a deep breath and asked, "May I help the next customer?" as if I wasn't standing right in front of her the whole time.
I get that you people can be on their break, but when my time as a customer is less important than which side of the desk your stapler is on, it's a bit of an insult and shows that customer service is really not all that important to you.
Oh, and a GREAT way to lose any customer is to tell them, "No, we can't handle that here, but if you travel to they might be able to help you."
This is the 21st century people. Since all banks, credit unions, and points of transaction are connected through the internet, there is no reason at all to send me to another bank, when I am physically standing in your bank. If I can process credit card transactions on my cell phone, YOU should be able to do it with your human teller or automated teller. If the grocery store (Safeway, Rayles, etc.) can process both my debit and credit cards, why can't your bank/credit union?
Laziness. Your bank is lazy and prefers to send customers to other banks.
I seriously don't understand how that works as a business model...

Been with them for 12 years. They take care of any issue I have ever come across. They are kind and greet with a smile. They are great!!

I like the folks at my little local branch. I find them helpful, and when the tellers are swamped the manager will take my deposit so I don't have to wait.

Business hours says they are open today until 5pm. They are not open. Nobody inside. Lights off. Very deceiving as I have business I need done today and this is extremely inconvenient for me.

I have been a long time Patelco member, the stars are for Alan at the Rohnert Park branch for helping me with my CC today minutes before closing time. Thank you!
