My experience with these guys was completely opposite of what other people have said. From my experience in the workforce, people refuse to pay off debts that they take out.. This leads to them breaching contracts and being charged more money than they think they should have to pay. People also dislike following the contract so they pay more than they would like. Most people shouldn't be allowed to borrow money..
I borrowed a little under 2k, I was given the chance to pay it off in 3 months, no interest. I did this. They made a small mistake and I was charged interest. After calling them, they removed the amount owed and zeroed out my account. They were nice, helpful and did the right thing. I pay my debts and because of this, I didn't have a poor experience.
A word to the wise, Do NOT buy things if you cannot afford to pay for them. This advice will make your life much easier and maybe you won't have to file bankruptcy all of the time..

After dealing with my own circumstances given the pandemic and other medical bills all the while being a full time student, it became extremely difficult to keep up with payments. With effective communication and the right representative, you could definitely work with this company. After many attempts to get ahold of me, I finally dialed back after them giving me 2-3 chances already and today Liliana helped me out to resolve an ongoing situation with my payments for the past 2-4 months. They offered me a solution and by the time I catch up for my regular monthly payments, I’ll be able to pay off the full amount. It really makes a difference when you’re responsible so as long as you’re making your payments on time and communicating effectively, they’re willing to work with you.

She has always been extremely supportive by providing complete and timely responses to any questions that I have posed to her. Her professional demeanor, when she has to contact me to discuss contract terms and payment conditions, has consistently been presented in a cordial and informed manner that contributes to achieving a positive result for both of us.

I have been with Monterey Financial for the past 2 years. It's been a great experience. Whenever I had questions, they were answered in a pleasant manner. Thaddeus informed me that I was making my last payment! I was extremely excited about the small amount I owed! He was very professional and informative in giving me all the information I needed.

I had a great experience with Linda Melendez today. She took the time to understand the situation and took it upon herself to contact the client and make arrangements on my behalf. Her focus on providing excellent customer is something that we rarely find in business in general these days.
Linda is very professional, easy to speak with and someone you want to reach out if you ever run into difficulties.
She should be the standard for training at Monterey!!!

This agency was great in assisting me with resolving an outstanding balance I eventually paid off. Alana provided exceptional service when i called to follow up on my final payment. She ensured that the issue I called about was resolved and promised me a realistic time frame for it to be reflected on my credit report. She even asked if I wanted to stay on the phone as she emailed me the reference letter for my account to ensure I received it. It wasn’t the pressure one would expect talking with collections. I Appreciate the good communication under those circumstances.

I had the pleasure to speak with Ms. Gena. She was so very friendly, cordial, and professional with me. She explained my account status and made it so easy to modify my payment arrangement after I explained my situation. She explained in detail everything concerning my account and any changes that concerned payments and dates so there was no misunderstanding. The one additional question I had during our exchange was easily explained and answered. Every time I call in the future I hope she will be on the receiving end so that I can work with her again. I am very pleased with my experience, and dealing with a financial issue, and my agent that I spoke with Melanie Lopez was very understanding of the situation. She was able to resolve all my concerns and able to help me in moving forward with getting this outstanding balance taken care of. I was without a doubt can give her a five star rating alone I very much recommend her to help out anybody situation.
