Never had such a bad experience with a mortgage lender. We had a standard 30-day Escrow and started the loan process well before we went into Escrow. I was pre-approved (meaning I provided all required documentation and the loan officer reviewed my credit report in advance). I was told that I was well qualified, had a clean file and that all would be well but that was very far from the truth. We were living out of an expensive beach house as we had already sold our home and all involved knew our timing was tight but the end result was that Escrow closed two weeks after it was supposed to, we almost lost our house and the sellers almost lost their new home in the process. Lot's of hard feelings, stress etc. I think WJ Bradley might be a bit too big for their britches because I felt like all I got was lip service as the loan officer and processor weren't in sinc with the underwriters in the company. I honestly felt like just a number and that my loan and situation was unimportant to them. The loan officer claims to be the expert in the field but had he or his processor caught a few minor items in the very beginning the entire delay could have easily been avoided. I caution all who read this to think twice before using WJ Bradley or Emery Financial.
