Megan B is the reason they’re being sued. Her smart attitude got this bank nowhere. Well it will hit the in the pocket book. Like the 11 other creditors I’ve sued.

This is a very clean bank and no long lines. The staff is friendly but there is no help after hours for things like debit card or online banking issues. I have had issues with being logged out of online banking even though my password is correct, then had to wait all weekend for assistance. (With their current system the only number you can call is the branch number at any time.) Also, my debit card was compromised (over the weekend of course) and even though they sent me a new one Monday and I got it Thursday I tried to use it at the store last night and it said not authorized. It was Friday night and I couldn’t buy all my groceries and nothing I can do until Monday. They say it will be better when they upgrade their system the end of this month. Sorry, still leaving as soon as possible. I am going back to chase or coast central credit union. I’m over this bank it has been issues the whole year I’ve been there. If you want a bank that will be there when you need them this is not the one.

I have been a member of this bank, formerly known as CSFECU#20, since @ 1980s. Recently, a massive conversion caused consternation and the team, especially a VP, were fantastic in leading the way to great success in managing and manipulating the new systems and organizations resulting in absolute ease of online services. I also love to bank in Arcata, although I dearly miss the peeps in the Eureka admin office on Wabash. Everyone, without fail, is courteous and charming and laughter is a staple of any visit. This organization, by any name, has been loyal and true to their members, and in my case, has helped me raise, educate and flourish as a parent with two children. Their accounts were established when they were very young, and they are still members in their 40s. Kudos to all the management and staff, and a big THANK YOU for being there. Best! janina

I am very happy with Compass credit union with the exception of their hours of operation. Their hours are straight out of the 1960's.

I lost my valid identification, and didn’t have a debit card. I know my member number and whatever else they ask for, yet didn’t want to let me withdraw my OWN money. I understand procedure, I do, but I have bills to pay, and needed my money. Ask me my social security number, mothers maiden name, birthday, address, past deposits. Thank you Ripley! For saving me. Can’t thank you enough. Also, the teller was snooty, and I didn’t appreciate it. This is exactly why I won’t be using this Credit Union much longer. Have had an account there since it was Cal State credit union, and I just about got denied taking my own money out. Ripley saved me, she’s always so kind to me
