Very poor customer service, they make things harder than it should be and banking app needs to be updated. This is why I switched to Chase bank.

great customer service; went in on Saturday, line was long but tellers work fast and if they were taking a while with someone one of the tellers would let everyone know they would be right with us an apologize for the wait. She didn't have to do that because we can all see they were all busy but it was nice to know they cared

The branch near me is good. But their mobile app and main call center are horrible. The people at their main center hate customers and treat us like garbage. I've never seen stuff like this at several other banks and credit unions across the country. Very bad.

I live in San Diego, have banked in Imperial Valley for 50 years. I have difficulty getting through to a rep by phone. On hold 10 minutes. Finally got a person today, she couldn't answer my ques, I asked to speak to someone else. I got hung up on. Called back...now 7th in line! Your service has always been pleasant in person.

This branch was no help to our needs. Even with notarized legal documents (living trust), the branch refused to help us while a family member’s health was failing. They made our multiple attempts a waste of time. Now with the loss of the family member, it is now too late for us to make any changes. We have no idea who the beneficiary is, the money is not going back to immediate family. Sun Community does not have to disclose who the beneficiary is and we don’t know who it is. Sun Community has accountability to the customers and family. Send your money elsewhere. I highly recommend Bank of America, First Imperial Credit Union, and Wells Fargo as they were very helpful to our needs.

I open my account with the NO MONTHLY FEES. Now I have $60 dlls in total of $5 dlls. I comply with ALL requirements, for no fees. I stop at the bank they only gave me $20 dlls. back. They said they can only do 4. Excuse??? Those fees should never been charged in the first place. They kept $40 dlls that should never been charged neither kept. When the teller went to ask the manager she made a face expression like if she was bother. They don't respect there contracts or policy or procedures whatever they go by. They promise things than they charge you left & right than they dont even want to give you back the money they made mistakes. Ohh they say the computer does that. Well fix it it doesn't do it on its own they are program to steal people's money you guys don't want to give it back. Out of all the tellers Mariah & some guys are nice. Really looking into moving to another bank.
