The lady manager loves to make up stories. She did not note my account and had her agent call me to harass me. Stated 2 months of customer appreciation approved and now she changed her story without a note. Everyone there is unprofessional. I worked with different banks but this the worse. Thank you.

This place has gone downhill ever since the new branch manager took over. She’s so unprofessional, condescending and rude. Tries to bully people into refinancing loans etc…

I asked for a loan to consolidate my credit card balances and pay them down. It was an easy process from start to finish, and I was approved within 72 hours. They have been gracious and easy to work with, and have made my experience nothing but positive. Making payments is simple, and they have even asked me if i need any more money. Because I am in Sales myself, I know the power of a good review, and don't usually give positive reviews unless I am completely satisfied. Check these people out, you will be glad that you did.

Threatened to report my payment late to Credit bureau over 12 days being late because I traded the car in and the new car lot hasn’t paid it off yet. Very unprofessional! I could see if it was past 30 days late but I wouldn’t recommend this loan office ! I always pay my bills, don’t be rude to your customers.

Sherrie was absolutely amazing. She got me in and out as I didn't have much time and was a pleasure to talk with. She made the process simple and easy. I recommend Lendmark to anyone needing funds.

The outrageous APR was something I signed up for and regret with full responsibility. But the incompetence of staff, outside of making a contract, is astounding. I would leave zero stars if I could.
I called at the end of December to inform them I was involuntarily unemployed. They said (rudely and rushed) the only thing they could do was refinance my contract. It took them a week to call me back. The payment was going to change $10. And I would essentially be financing interest already accrued. This would scam me out of thousands of dollars and literally provide me no assistance whatsoever.
As I read this new contract myself (whilst the representative rushed me on the phone, other staff laughing and chatting loudly in the background), I found a clause for involuntary unemployment insurance. I asked if my existing contract had this assistance. And she said yes. I then asked why was I not pointed in this direction a week ago, rather than them running my credit a second time to draft a useless contract identical to my existing one?! No answer. She said someone would call me back about this assistance. They never did.
I eventually got myself to the right place—through no assistance of their own—and reached out to the third-party unemployment insurance company myself. They sent me a claim form via email. Myself and my employer filled out the documents electronically the very same day. It took Lenmark three weeks and over 10 phone calls to finally get them to sign their portion. They said they would send it the mail. They never did. After three weeks and me constantly having to follow up, they finally stated the only way they could fill out this form was for me to drive an hour and a half to their office, which is ludicrous. The form that I continued to send them for weeks was an electronic fillable PDF. I made it so easy for them! They literally just had to click to sign.
They finally hand-signed the claim, and sent a scanned copy to my email, after I suggested this to them. Apparently this had never occurred to them before. I then had to send the completed application to the third-party insurance company myself. Because Lendmark never did. To this day.
But that’s not the worst part. Meanwhile, throughout the month that this transpired, I continued to receive prompt phone calls from Lendmark’s collections department about making a payment. 🙂
I used to work for customer service, both in person and over the phone, so I am so extremely pleasant and patient in those interactions, because I know what it’s like. I have never in my life, however, experienced such a level of laziness, indifference, and lack of skill from an establishment. The only way to get things done is to call every 24 hours and harass them to do it.
This is coming from the most understanding person you can get on the other end of a phone:
Lendmark’s incompetence is both dumbfounding and extraordinary.
