I wish I knew her name but I was in on this past Friday for an appointment for credit counseling to talk about refinancing my car. Things like that tend to give me anxiety because I’m new to it all and don’t understand how everything works and a lot of time financial people can be rude and make you feel even worse. HOWEVER, the girl that helped me was phenomenal she answered every question I had and helped me to explore all of my options, she didn’t make me feel belittled or uncomfortable and honestly I felt like I was talking to a friend. I’ve used GCFU for years and everyone that works there has always been so kind and friendly. I am super thankful to have such a good bank!

I have to say the small town feel with big city bank capabilities is really refreshing compared to a few other accounts I've had elsewhere over the years. I do just about all of my banking with them now and I would recommend them to anyone!

So don't bank with this bank if you are caring for your elderly parent who cannot make decisions for themselves!!! Go find a real bank!!! My mother had her account there, my brother and I have power of attorney, and yes, it was on file at the bank!!! They allowed my sister and her husband who have stolen $ b4 from my mother to take ALL of her $ out of the account and open a new one with their names on it!!! How INCOMPETENT of a bank to allow such an incident to take place is beyond me!!! Never again will we bank here!!! Go Anywhere besides here if you are power of Attorney for a loved one that you are Trying to protect their assets and not allow them to be stolen!!!

Your debit card has a $700 daily limit (no, that’s not an atm limit) I’ve had my card declined with $2500 in my checking account because of their limit that they claim is the same for everyone. If you call, they tell you that the limit cannot be removed, they can only “temporarily raise” the limit for the day. Completely ridiculous. Hours are inconvenient, they’re closed now or else I’d be closing my account. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
